Scott Leaman has served in Western Placer Unified School District since 1993 and as superintendent since 2006. Since the start of his education career in 1987, he has been a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent.
Prior to teaching, he served in the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone, West Africa. He received his bachelor's degree and teaching credential from San Diego State University with a certificate in applied linguistics, He earned his Administrative Credential from University of California, Irvine and his master's degree from California State University, Hayward with an emphasis in online learning.
He has presented at local, state, and national conferences, including the National Association of School Psychologists. He is married and has two wonderful children in high school.
