The Board expects parents who live within our attendance boundaries to enroll their students in our schools, so we can continue to plan and meet our commitments. However, WPUSD has established a process to evaluate requests for students who reside in one district while intending to attend school in another district. This process is called an interdistrict transfer request. The request must be approved by the district in which the student lives and the desired district of attendance to allow the student to enroll. Please click here for an Interdistrict Attendance Request Parent Handbook, which contains information to help clarify this process for parents, students, and the community (be patient as it downloads).The interdistrict request form is available by clicking here. Please complete the form and drop it off at the District Office or mail it using the address on the form. If this is your first request to attend a high school outside the district, you must first visit Lincoln High School for a tour and obtain a signature on the form available here. Tours may be arranged by calling the high school at 916.645.6360 and asking for an "interdistrict tour." Any questions about the process that is not explained in the parent handbook may be directed to Emma Oehler at 916.645.6350.
Open Enrollment to Twelve Bridges Middle School (NEW)Top of Page
The District is excited to offer Open Enrollment to parents of students in the Glen Edwards Middle School attendance boundary who would like to attend Twelve Bridges Middle School. The link to the form is below and needs to be completed and sent to the district office by Friday, April 21, 2017. The form can be submitted by hand delivery or mailed to Kerry Callahan, WPUSD, 600 6th Street, Suite 400, Lincoln, CA 95648, or scaned and emailed to email@example.com, or faxed to (916) 645-6356.

Your child's education is extremely important to all of us. We know that families recognize the importance of developing strong attendance habits in order to access the excellent education that our district provides. Excellent attendance is a building block to a successful future. We will be alerting families if their child begins to show a pattern of excessive absences or truancy.
